What is No-Code?

A category of tools that let non-developers build applications through visual interfaces without writing code.

No-code platforms (Bubble, Webflow, Framer, Wix) provide drag-and-drop editors that produce working applications. The key distinction from AI app builders: no-code output runs on the platform's proprietary runtime and usually can't be exported as standard source code. No-code optimizes for accessibility; AI app builders optimize for speed and code ownership.
